S.T.P. Services

S.T.P. provides vertical services on its products: design of the piece, planning of the die, production, finishes, quality control, packing and barcode labelling.

 S.T.P. has technicians expert in computer-aided design (CAD).
Given the usage requirements of the desired piece, we are able to analyse its features and to define completely the model. Afterwards, S.T.P. carries out the technical design by using CAD programmes. We are able to "hook" our productive process to designs provided by the client.

Planning the die is the most important stage of the process that produces the presswork. The features of the die and its proper functioning have a considerable impact on costs, quality and delivery deadlines. S.T.P. presents itself as a mature company in die planning, having capitalized its yearly experience to provide this service directly to its clients.

 S.T.P. performs directly finishes on the products or delegates them to its historical partners.
Finishes are made on the final internally-designed product or provided as single working stage on the semi-manufactured product supplied by the client.
There are several different finishes:
Sifting, grinding, glazing, brushing, rumbling and reviving.
Final treatments with spray.
Several galvanic treatments, such as coppering, nickel-plating, chromium-plating, chromium-glazing, etc.
PVD treatments.
Furthermore, we work specific surfaces, showing creativity and experience in undertaking technical innovations.

Our work methodologies rely on the quality control on the pieces produced. In compliance with our needs, the control is performed on each piece or by sampling.
The control procedure is made of the following steps:
- filling in a card (for each piece or sample)
- writing down the nominal measures
- measuring and writing down the actual values of the measures
- computating, verifying and writing down the tolerances
Whenever required, the client has been supplied copies of the control cards.

S.T.P. concludes its production lines with machinery able to package and to pack its products. In accordance with clients' needs, proper labels and barcodes are applied to all the packs.
